Support for Rural LISC in their Play Ball Again initiative to rebuild baseball parks in Puerto Rico that had been damaged by hurricanes Maria and Rita. Responsible for setting up meetings with municipalities across the Island, translation services (English-Spanish and Spanish-English) and facilitating meetings.

Beaulac Associates LLC has provided advice and recommendation in the development of the New Rural Opportunities Index, an effort by Rabobank N.A. and the Center for Regional Change at the University of California at Davis, to develop a more effective method for the bank to invest resources in underserved, rural communities in California.
Center for Rural Strategies
10,000 Friends of Rural America, is a coalition-backed social media campaign designed to raise the visibility of the "real" rural America and what its people contribute to our nation and to promote understanding of the nation's self-interest in investing in strong, sustainable rural communities. Beaulac Associates offered advice and tactical support for this campaign including the development of enhanced marketing and partner recruitment.
Rapoza Associates
Rapoza Associates contracted with us to help plan and facilitate a session in Washington DC which brought together many of the leading CDFIs in the country and national policy organizations including the National Development Council, National Association of Counties, National Community Reinvestment Coalition, US Conference of Mayors and the National Council of State Housing Agencies. The meeting resulted in the creation of a consensus for action to combat the deteriorating role of the federal government in community development across the country.
Hudson Opera House
Beaulac Associates LLC worked with the Hudson Opera House and Community Center in Hudson, New York to attract financing needed to expand the Theater's physical size and program offerings. Built in 1855, the historic Hudson Opera House is New York State's oldest continuously operating theater. Sources of new financing include New Markets Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits and USDA Rural Development.

Designed and facilitated a peer-to-peer exchange between four member organizations of the NeighborWorks network.

Beaulac Associates provided service to Northwest Side CDC (Milwaukee, WI) in locating and verifying inventory held by a borrower in Barcelona, Spain.
Route 123 Heritage Trail
We assisted PathStone Corporation develop an agro- and heritage-tourism trail in Puerto Rico along the historic Route 123, a road that connects the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean and winds its way through the historic coffee producing area of the Island. This project aims to redevelop a region in the Island's mountainous interior that combines elements of agro-, eco- and heritage-tourism. Beaulac Associates is playing a leading role in the development of federal and private resources that will support the trail.
NCALL merger, Dover, Delaware
We guided efforts to merger two non-profit housing services and technical assistance organizations in the State of Delaware. Our responsibilities included creating a road map that the Merger Assessment Committee, comprised of board members and staff from the two organizations. We are responsible for outlining all of the tasks which had to be accomplished including completing all elements of due diligence, development of a new governance system, an integrated financial system and a post-merger staffing system. We were responsible for convening monthly meetings of the Merger Assessment Committee, keeping minutes of these meetings and monitoring progress.
(Associates of the firm have been intricately involved in a number of mergers between non-profit organizations in the states of New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Associates have also established corporations and real estate partnerships in New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Ohio, New Jersey and Indiana.)
Quitman County Development Organization
Rural LISC contracted with us to provide training and technical assistance to Quitman County Development Organization in Marks, MS. Areas that we are addressing include organizational management, improvement to real estate portfolio and the potential merger with another community development organization.
Congressional and Agency Relations
Beaulac Associates has provided assistance to clients in communicating with Members of Congress and staff of federal agencies. Federal agencies with whom we have worked include USDA Rural Development, HUD, Treasury's CFDI Fund and Department of Labor.
Wilson Commencement Park (WCP), Rochester, New York
Analyze and evaluate WCP’s performance under a contract it had with the City of Rochester and make recommendations to WCP’s submission of a subsequent application.
